What is a ghost? Is it a memory? A vibration, or a LOST SOUL?

We asked Psychic Patricia to talk about her experiences and to give us some advice on what to do if we do have ghostly visitors in your home or workplace.

Today, we will work with how to deal with a presence in your home. How to check for it – effectively your own Ghost Hunt, and how to release it into the Light and freedom of Spirit.
You walk into a room and there is just something there, but you just can't place a finger on it.
A little bit of discomfort, something or one looking over your shoulder, that slight chill in the air. Or you may have even seen someone or heard something that goes bump in the night.
Checking for spirit
There are many ways of checking if there is a spirit connected to your property but word of mouth is one of the best, ask the people next door if they have heard of any stories about the house or local area. Is there any activity in their house too? Do they know if anyone died in the house or nearby? This will give you great insight and could even be step one of moving the spirit on.
You can also leave little traps around the house to see if you have been visited by the paranormal. One of the best is the white powder test.
On a small table sprinkle some talcum powder to create a thin layer, say “use this powder to show me you are here” and leave the room, after a few hours return to the room to see if any messages have been left, but don’t expect words. This maybe a handprint or even just a small movement on the surface of the powder as they leave you a sign that they are visiting your home.

What to do if you want to move the spirit on and into the spiritual realms.
You will need
The Prayer for the dead, there are many forms of this pray for each religion, but the catholic prayer is the most commonly used. (see below for a copy of this prayer)
Holy water. water that has been blessed.
What to do
Starting at the front door of your house, sprinkle a little holy water and say the prayer of the dead. Then visit each and every room in your home, sprinkling a little holy water in the thresholds and windowsills repeating the Prayer on entering the rooms. If you have a name or feel that you know who the spirit is, you can also add “ (name) it is time to move on and we ask you to do this with great respect”.
After you have completed all the rooms in your house light a candle near an open window and say “let this candle light your way home to the spirit world” after a short time blow the candle out then close the window.
If you are still feeling the energy in your home after a few days, repeat all actions above.
Most of the time the spirits that visit us are family members or friends that want to show us they are still around, it is not disrespectful to ask them to leave our homes, or to ask them to protect us in a different way.
We are all protected by spirit from spirit.
