Make Positivity Part Of Your Daily Routine

“I asked and it didn’t happen”

 “Why are things so bad?”

“How do I change the way I feel?”

Are questions we have been asked to put to our meditation guru Mariana.

Mariana lives her life with positivity, knowing that the abundance of the universe will be granted if you ask for it in the right way.

In Mariana’s words.

Gratitude will attract prosperity because it will connect with the abundance of the universe.
When you are grateful you are elevating your vibration which will attract prosperity into your life. We sometimes take things for granted and do not realise how blessed we are compered with others.
If you dwell in negativity, like complaining everyday for things, you are keeping yourself in lower vibration and attracting scarcity in your life.

A few examples:

“You woke up this morning”, please be grateful because, some did not make it.
“You have reasonable health,” many in the world deal with illness and lack of healthcare.
“You have access to services such as running water, electricity and high speed internet” obviously, you pay for them but they are available.

Take time to reflect on the examples and how everyday we have simple things to be thankful for;

Make gratitude a daily practice.

Positivity and gratitude need to be practised! Just like any other healthy habit, consistency is key. By turning gratitude into an authentic, everyday experience, it will become an integral part of your life, not a forced add-on.

Explore these four ideas to make gratitude a daily routine – one of them is sure to be the perfect fit:

1.    Carry a Reminder. Add a heart charm to your keys or customize your phone case with an image and quote that warms your heart. Use every touch as a reminder to acknowledge and appreciate something that you’re grateful for.
2.    Thoughtful Ignition. Draw a mental line in your day that cannot be crossed without a quiet moment of gratitude. Whether that’s stepping out of your front door or turning the ignition switch in your car, you’ll feel more balanced and less busy with a grateful heart.
3.    Micro-Journaling. For most people, journaling can feel like an impossible task that you have to add in on top of everything else, but it doesn’t have to be! Start by adding micro-journaling into your current organisation system – whether that’s sticky notes, digital trackers, or a pocket calendar. Simply jot down a thankful note in your to-do list or calendar the first time that you open it each day.
4.    Wake Up to Gratitude. Do you hate your alarm ringtone? Is it hard to input your phone’s passcode with sleepy eyes? Infuse gratitude into your day from the get-go. Try waking up to your favourite song, placing your favourite family photo on your bedside table, and changing your passcode to the date of a meaningful memory.

One small change can make smile, feel less stressed and thankful. By reading this you may have started a rolling rock of positivity.

Love and light Mariana
